Iya, one of the Japan`s three great unexplored areas
This area is a placed called " Japan's great unexplored area/original Japanese landscape."
It is located in deep inside of Shikoku, Oboke/Iya area is famous for Heike Yashiki (mansion), Ochiai-Shuraku (community of Ochiai) , Kazura-bashi (vine bridge), Manneken-Pis statue (courage testing rock), Iyakei Valley, wild monkeys, Mount Tsurugi and so on. In the emerald-colored Yoshino river running through the Obokekyo Valley, you can enjoy cruise or rafting.
Magnificent mountain scenery shows color changes according to each of four seasons.

Many visitors from towns voice with a wondering face:
